Blingo- Google with Prizes

Yesterday I was busy cleaning all day for Easter so now on the holy day itself, I am able to write about Blingo. Blingo is a search engine with a twist, not only does it provide you the same search results as Google but it gives you a chance to win some great prizes as well. I signed up for Blingo about 2 months ago and I'm not going to lie, I haven't won anything yet and I'm frankly not expecting myself to but it would be a nice surprise if I did. The sign-up is pretty basic with your name and email then the more personal questions in case you win. The requirements are that you have to be at least 13 years old, live in the United States(sorry fellow Canadians), and have an Internet connection(duh). The prizes consist of $5 Amazon Gift Cards up to a car, but I'm more likely to have this post read by everyone in the world than win a car, but who knows, it CAN happen. They have given 68,252 prizes up to date which I have to say is pretty cool.

How to Win: Blingo chooses random times during each day to award prizes. If a user performs a search at one of those times, Blingo awards the user with a prize. Only the first 25 searches of the day per user count towards winning a prize.

How They Can Do This: Its sponsored by Publishers Clearing House, the company that gives out the big check on TV, so I'm assuming they have tons of money to give away.

Blingo also has a great refferal system that is great for people who have friends that are down for this. If your referral wins something on Blingo, you get the same exact thing. Now imagine if you have 100 friends sign-up, your chances of winning that Amazon gift card would increase by a lot. You can refer your friends using email, an invitation link that sends your friends to the websites, it should look this this:
